An EPRUMA delegation presented their initiative on responsible use of veterinary medicines during the Congress of European Farmers entitled "The Common Agricultural Policy post-2013: a fair and stable income for farmers", which was held in Brussels on 4-6 October 2010.

During the event the conference participants - 600 delegates from 31 countries - had an opportunity to learn about the benefits of the EPRUMA initiative on responsible use as an element supporting the current and future competitiveness and sustainability of the farming community.
COPA-COGECA approved a declaration on the future of the Common Agriculture Policy at the Congress, highlighting the need for a strong CAP to help farmers and cooperatives to cope with the new challenges of extreme market volatility and climate change.
