EPRUMA, the European Platform for the Responsible Use of Medicines in Animals, will participate in the EU veterinary conference entitled, “Identification and traceability along the food chain”, which will be held in Brussels on 14-15th June 2010.

The conference is organised by the European Commission Directorate General for Health and Consumers (DG SANCO) with support from the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE), the European Federation for Animal Health and Sanitary Security (FESASS) and the Federation of European Aquaculture Producers (FEAP).
A dedicated EPRUMA website will be presented to the numerous European opinion leaders and stakeholders participating in the event. Additionally, EPRUMA will showcase the work it has been doing, including a best-practice framework for the responsible use of antimicrobials in food-producing animals.
